Q1 Impact: Heartbeats & Hands 540 Celebrates Community Impact with Wellness Box Campaign and First Volunteer Raffle

Atlanta, GA – Heartbeats & Hands 540 (HH540) kicked off 2025 with exciting initiatives aimed at supporting community wellness and celebrating volunteerism.

Mother’s Day Weekend, HH540 partnered with The Survivor’s Nest to assemble and prepare 50+ wellness boxes filled with clean, organic essentials to support hygiene, self-care, and mental wellness for women impacted by cancer. To support this effort, HH540 also hosted a donation drive to help provide the items included in the wellness boxes.

Thanks to the generosity of Lume, each box included mini deodorants — providing women with trusted products that promote dignity, confidence, and everyday well-being. During the weekend, The Survivor’s Nest hand-delivered 20 wellness boxes to women currently undergoing cancer treatment, offering comfort and encouragement, while the remaining boxes will be donated to local hospitals to support women newly diagnosed with cancer.

In addition to the Wellness Box Campaign, HH540 hosted its first-ever raffle, the Home Run for Volunteerism: Savannah Bananas Raffle. Participants had a chance to win six tickets to see the Savannah Bananas at Truist Park on March 25, 2025. The raffle successfully raised $361 for HH540’s volunteer initiatives, and the lucky winner, Dequanya Williams, walked away with the tickets.
