Easter Joy Project Recap: Spreading Smiles and Creating Memories! 🌷🐰

We're excited to share the highlights from our Easter Joy project at Peachtree Creek Memory Care! With the help of eight wonderful volunteers, we had a day filled with smiles, creativity, and connection.

Our volunteers were amazing with helping residents paint crafts and decorate Easter themed cookies.  It was truly touching to witness the care and gentleness shown by both volunteers and staff towards each resident, highlighting the special nature of Peachtree Creek as a memory care facility designed for individuals with memory-related issues, with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.

We also enjoyed a delicious lunch captured by Carrabba's Italian Grill while grooving to the timeless tunes of Motown's greatest hits. The Easter bunny's visit added an extra touch of joy, capturing heartwarming moments as residents posed for photos.

The afternoon ended with some lively dancing.  The residents of Peachtree Creek know how to party! The ‘Cha Cha Slide’ was a crowd favorite and brought many smiles while we danced.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers for making this day unforgettable. Your kindness and enthusiasm brightened the lives of the residents at Peachtree Creek Memory Care.
